Job summary
IQVIA Discovery Sciences is seeking a Senior Technical Specialist II in Cambridge to lead the development and optimization of stem cell culture technologies. You will culture, maintain, and troubleshoot diverse stem cell lines, driving multiple programs and delivering high-quality cell batches for discovery projects.
The role requires a strong background in stem cell biology, cryopreservation, and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cell Biology, Stem Cell Biology, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related discipline.
- Significant experience in stem cell culture environments.
- Hands-on experience with stem cell lines and cryopreservation techniques.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead development and implementation of stem cell culture technologies.
- Culture, maintain, expand, and troubleshoot stem cell lines and primary/recombinant cells.
- Manage multiple culture programs ensuring delivery against timelines.
- Provide high-quality cell batches for HTS and discovery activities.
- Apply cryopreservation techniques to maintain line integrity.
