Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London is seeking an experienced Steelwork Project Manager to oversee projects from design through to installation and handover. This role demands extensive steelwork knowledge and cut-and-carve experience on complex structural steel projects.

The successful candidate will manage fabrication, delivery and installation, coordinate subcontractors, and drive programme management across sites with hybrid working options.

Qualifications

• Proven structural steelwork project management experience.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a management role.
• Experience managing fabrication, delivery and installation.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Strong subcontractor and client management skills.
• Commercial awareness and programme management experience.
• Knowledge of refurbishment, structural alterations or cut-and-carve projects preferred.

Responsibilities

Steelwork Project Manager

Our client is a growing structural steelwork and architectural metalwork contractor delivering projects across London. We are looking for an experienced Steelwork Project Manager to oversee projects from design through to installation and handover. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with extensive steelwork industry knowledge & cut and carve experience who is looking to play a key role in the successful delivery of complex structural steel projects and become part of a growing business.

Key requirements:

• Proven structural steelwork project management experience
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a management role
• Experience managing fabrication, delivery and installation
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Strong subcontractor and client management skills
• Commercial awareness and programme management experience
• Knowledge of refurbishment, structural alterations or cut-and-carve projects preferred

Desirable Qualifications:

• SMSTS and steelwork industry experience desirable
• NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management or equivalent
• Relevant industry qualifications and professional memberships
