Job summary

Reliable Contractors Limited is seeking skilled Steelfixers for a large infrastructure project in Teesside, United Kingdom. Long-term work is available for candidates with the right cards and a stable mindset. PAYE basis with a competitive pay rate and 30 days' paid holidays (including bank holidays).

Benefits include a pension, paid training/upskilling, a safe working environment, free PPE, and the opportunity to earn regular income. Driving licence is preferred but not essential for all roles.

Qualifications

• CSCS Blue Card (Skilled Worker) requirement.
• Experience in Steelfixing on construction sites.
• Experience with carrying out rebar installation and erection.

Responsibilities

• Carry out steel fixing and rebar installation and erection on site.
• Read and interpret steel fixing drawings and bending schedules.
• Follow site duties and work with other trades as required.

Candidates must have:

• CSCS Blue Card (Skilled Worker)
• Skilled tradesperson with suitable experience of Steelfixing
• Skilled tradesperson with suitable experience of carrying out rebar installation and erection.
• Ability to ensure the accuracy of the ' formwork made for the concrete pouring gangs to cast the concrete in
• Ability to make and erect formwork
• Expected to be able to competently read and understand steel fixing drawings and bending schedules.
• Manual Handling
• A good understanding of general construction works.
• A full understanding of all site duties.
• Capable of carrying out manual labour work and assist with other trades as required.
