Job summary

One Way is currently recruiting experienced Steel Fixers to join a major infrastructure project in Thornton-Cleveleys, Lancashire.

You will read reinforcement drawings, cut and bend steel, fix reinforcement and cages, and ensure work is completed to specification before concrete pours. CSCS Skilled Worker Card is essential, along with a Safety Critical Medical, and readiness for site drug and alcohol testing and strict safety procedures. This is long-term work with competitive rates.

Qualifications

• Must have experience reading reinforcement drawings and fixing steel reinforcement on large infrastructure projects.
• Ability to cut and bend steel, assemble reinforcement cages and ensure compliance with specifications before concrete pours.
• Experience on major civil engineering projects and working as part of a team.
• CSCS Skilled Worker Card is essential; Safety Critical Medical required; willing to comply with site drug and alcohol testing and safety procedures.

Responsibilities
