Job summary

Masstemps is recruiting an OHC/Combi Driver Operative for a busy steel processing site in Tividale. This hands-on role combines forklift operation with operating saws to cut steel bar to customer specifications.

The ideal candidate will have steel industry experience, hold a valid 4 Way Reach forklift licence, and be comfortable working in a busy industrial environment with a strong focus on health and safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience and operation.
• Steel handling and heavy materials awareness.
• Saws operation experience is advantageous.
• Strong health and safety awareness.
• Teamwork and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 4 Way Reach Forklift Truck to move steel products safely.
• Operate industrial saws to cut steel bar to specified lengths.
• Load and unload steel materials.
• Move heavy steel products around the warehouse and processing areas.
• Prepare steel materials to customer specifications.
• Ensure materials are stored and handled safely.
• Carry out equipment checks and report issues.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Maintain a clean, organised working environment.
• Work as part of a team to meet daily production and dispatch requirements.
