Job summary

Masstemps Ltd in the United Kingdom (Tipton area) is recruiting for an OHC/Combi DriverOperative in a busy steel processing environment. The role combines forklift operation with saw handling to cut steel bar to customer specifications, in a hands-on industrial setting.

The ideal candidate will have experience with steel, hold a valid 4 Way Reach Forklift licence, and be capable of working safely and accurately in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with steel or heavy materials.
• Valid 4 Way Reach Forklift licence is essential.
• Experience operating saws is advantageous.
• Ability to work in a busy industrial environment with safety and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 4 Way Reach Forklift Truck to move and position steel products safely.
• Operate industrial saws to cut steel bar to specified lengths.
• Load and unload steel materials.
• Move heavy steel products around the warehouse and processing areas.
• Prepare steel materials to customer specifications.
• Ensure materials are handled and stored safely.
• Carry out checks on equipment and report issues.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organised working environment.
• Work as part of a team to meet daily production and dispatch requirements.
