Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group Limited is seeking a Mill Team Worker in Sheffield to support mill operations with a focus on safety and quality. You will assist with set ups, support the Roller Operative, and help complete production to plan while maintaining rigorous health and safety standards.

The role requires manual handling, good communication, and flexibility to work days and nights on a 4-day schedule; join a team committed to accuracy and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• To assist with mill set ups, during size/pass changes.
• To assist the Roller Operative to ensure that plant operation is performed in a safe and efficient manner
• Work to complete the production in accordance with the planned output
• To cut and remove scrap.
• To perform all required mill duties as necessary.
• Liaise with Supervisor/Team regarding production issues and plant maintenance requirements.
• To perform first line maintenance as required.
• Assist and undertake other duties as necessary in a safe manner
• Carry out manual handling of product, tools, machinery etc. In a safe manner
