The Best Connection is currently recruiting an experienced Order Picker to join our client's busy manufacturing environment in the Bilston area of Wolverhampton.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Valid overhead crane licence and valid FLT licence.
• Hands-on experience operating crane and FLT in a working environment.

Responsibilities

• Order picking steel bars and tubes.
• Operating an overhead crane to lift and move materials.
• Using a counterbalance forklift to transport materials around the site.
• Moving materials to and from machinery, storage areas and dispatch.
• Ensuring materials are delivered to production.
• Maintaining a safe, organised and efficient working environment.

The Best Connection is currently recruiting an experienced Order Picker to join our client's busy manufacturing environment in the Bilston area of Wolverhampton.

Pay Rate

£13.99 per hour

Working Hours

Weekly rotating shifts working Monday to Friday.

• Early Shift: 06:00am - 13:30pm
• Late Shift: 13:30pm - 21:00pm

The Role

Working within a busy manufacturing environment, your duties will include:

• Order picking steel bars and tubes.
• Operating an overhead crane to safely lift and move materials.
• Using a counterbalance forklift truck (FLT) to transport materials around the site.
• Moving materials to and from machinery, storage areas and dispatch.
• Ensuring materials are delivered to the correct locations to support production.
• Maintaining a safe, organised and efficient working environment.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must have:

• A valid overhead crane licence.
• A valid counterbalance FLT licence.
• Hands‑on experience operating both the overhead crane and counterbalance FLT in a working environment.
• Previous experience handling and moving materials, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• A strong awareness of health and safety.
• A reliable, hardworking and flexible approach.
