Job summary

Responsibilities

• Read plans: Follow engineering drawings to know bar sizes, shapes, and spacing.
• Cut and bend rebar and mesh using hand tools, power tools, or bending machines.
• Tie rebar with wire, clips, or electric tiers to form cages for foundations, walls, and columns.
• Place spacers and chairs to secure steel inside the concrete.
