Job summary

Madigan Gill Ltd is seeking a steel fixer for a project in Epsom. The ideal candidate will hold a CSCS Card (Blue NVQ Lv2), have their own PPE and tools, and possess experience working on large sites. Responsibilities include reading plans, cutting and bending rebar, tying rebar to form strong cages, and placing spacers to maintain correct positioning within concrete.

Responsibilities

• Read plans: Follow engineering drawings to know bar sizes, shapes, and spacing.

• Tie rebar with wire, clips, or electric tiers to form cages for foundations, walls, and columns.
• Place spacers and chairs to secure steel inside the concrete.
