Job summary

Reliable Contractors is looking for a Steel Fixer Chargehand to work on the HS2 infrastructure project in Warwickshire (CV8 2UA). This full-time PAYE role offers a long-term assignment of 5–7 years with on-site work and occasional relocations as required.

Shift hours are 7am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, with overtime paid Monday to Friday after 10 hours, nights, weekends, and nights at time and a half. You must hold CSCS Gold – fixing NVQ and SSSTS, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience and a full

Qualifications

• CSCS Gold - fixing NVQ required.
• SSSTS certification required.
• Minimum 5 years site experience.
• Full UK driving license.

Responsibilities

• Lead steel fixing operations on site.
• Ensure safety and compliance on site.
• Coordinate with project teams on HS2 infrastructure.
• Supervise other workers as Chargehand.

Might be required to move site when needed.

PAYE basis

Pay rate: £25.81 per hour

Paid Holidays: 30 days per year (including bank holidays)

• Full UK Driving License

Shift

7am - 5pm

Monday - Friday

Overtime

Monday – Friday - Time and a third after 10 hours

Nights – Time and a third
