Job summary

Reliable Contractors Limited is hiring a Steel Fixer Chargehand for the HS2 infrastructure project in Warwickshire (CV8 2UA). It is a full-time, on-site position with a 7am–5pm, Monday to Friday schedule and possible site moves.

Pay is £25.81 per hour, with 30 days of holidays per year. Overtime rules apply (time and a third, nights double time, weekends time and a half). Must have CSCS Gold fixing NVQ, SSSTS, 5 years’ experience and a full UK driving license.

Qualifications

• CSCS Gold - fixing NVQ required.
• SSSTS required.
• Minimum 5 years experience required.
• Full UK Driving License required.

Responsibilities

• Lead steel fix operations on the HS2 infrastructure project.
• Supervise junior crew members and ensure work is compliant with safety standards.
• Coordinate daily on-site activities and material movements between sites as needed.
• Maintain high-quality workmanship and report on progress to site management.

PAYE basis

Pay rate: £25.81 per hour

Shift:

7am - 5pm
Monday - Friday

Overtime:

Monday - Friday - Time and a third after 10 hours
Nights - Time and a third
Sat & Sunday and night all hours -Time and a half
