We are working with one of the largest Manufacturers of Industrial Gas and Steam Boiler systems in the UK. They are looking for a Service Engineer to join the team in the South East.
You will be given full comprehensive training of the companies range of Boilers, Burners and Steam Systems and will attend sites including Factories, Hospitals, District Heating sites, Food Manufacturers and more to service and maintain their systems. You will complete strip downs, NDT's, annual checks and much more and some experience with electrical controls such as ETC or Lamtec would be advantageous.
The company are big on work/life balance so there is no staying away from home unless you say you would like to travel. For example, there is international trips available for commissioning, they are currently completing a project at a site in Egypt and have one upcoming in the Caribbean.
Likewise, there is no 'set' call out rota. The Senior Tech for the Region holds the phone and if a call comes, he will try and diagnose it over the phone. If someone needs to go to site, then he will call the Engineer who lives closest. If you can do it, great, if you can't as you are busy, they will move onto the next closest Engineer etc. Everyone works together to cover it when they can and it fits around your life rather than being on call 7 days straight.
There is constant ongoing training and development opportunities, as well as opportunities to progress your career.
