Taste Hospitality Recruitment Limited is seeking a Restaurant General Manager in Aberdeen for a modern steak-led concept within a UK-wide group. You will lead from the floor, drive exceptional guest experiences, and manage a busy front-of-house and bar operation.

You must have GM experience in a similar environment, with strong leadership, commercial acumen, and a passion for hospitality. This role offers progression opportunities within a supportive group and a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Restaurant General Manager in a high-volume or quality-led setting.
• Strong leadership with the ability to motivate front-of-house teams.
• Commercial awareness and ownership of a busy operation.
• Proven ability to recruit, train and develop staff.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the restaurant and bar.
• Lead, motivate and develop the front of house team.
• Ensure consistently high standards of service and guest experience.
• Be visible and hands-on during busy services, leading by example.
• Manage recruitment, training, performance and team development.
• Oversee rotas, staffing levels and operational planning.
• Take responsibility for ordering, stock control and cost management.
• Monitor standards across the restaurant and ensure company procedures are followed.
• Deal confidently with guest feedback and resolve issues professionally.
• Work closely with the wider management team to drive the success of the restaurant.
