Job summary

Equals Money is seeking an Assistant Statutory Accountant to join the Finance team in London. You will support the Head of Financial Reporting with year-end statutory accounts, group consolidation and tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

You will work within a regulated payments business, using NetSuite and IFRS guidance, developing your knowledge while contributing to audit readiness and improved financial controls.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant or part-qualified aiming to complete final exams within the next 12 months.
• Experience in statutory reporting or external audit within finance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare year-end statutory accounts for defined entities.
• Support group consolidation and intercompany accounting across jurisdictions.
• Assist with audit deliverables and liaise with external auditors.
• Maintain working papers and schedules to support financial statements.
