Job summary

Darktrace is seeking a technically strong Reporting Accountant on a 12-month FTC to strengthen statutory reporting, controls and financial processes as the business scales. The role sits in a dynamic finance team with emphasis on accuracy, compliance and efficiency.

Hybrid position with 2 days per week in Cambridge or London offices; you will influence reporting processes and internal controls across the UK business and its subsidiaries.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent is required.
• Experience preparing or supporting consolidated financial statements and statutory accounts.
• Strong understanding of internal controls, financial reporting frameworks and risk assessment.
• Experience conducting process reviews, self‑assessments, or control testing in finance.
• Strong documentation skills and ability to maintain clear internal processes.
• Experience implementing or improving finance systems, processes, or scalable controls.

Responsibilities

• Support internal and external reporting to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist in preparing annual consolidated financial statements and disclosures.
• Support production of statutory accounts for the group and subsidiaries.
• Ensure adherence to reporting procedures and controls; identify improvement opportunities.
• Maintain up-to-date internal documentation (policies, procedures, controls) and communicate across Teams/SharePoint.
• Contribute to new processes and controls aligned with business growth; collaborate cross‑functionally.
