Job description

Are you a Statutory Accounts Manager or Business Services Manager, fully ACA Qualified with at least 3 years PQE, looking to upgrade to a modern and entrepreneurial West End based accountancy practice? This medium size and rapidly growing firm works with high profile Media, Entertainment, Film & TV clients (both corporate and HNW individuals).

Your role will primarily involve statutory accounts, tax, and advisory work. You will manage a portfolio of clients, being their main point of contact, overseeing workflow, managing staff, reviewing work, and assisting with new business development.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Managing your own portfolio of clients (including corporate clients and individuals).
2. Reporting directly to Partner level.
3. Liaising directly with all clients.
4. Preparing statutory accounts from start to finish under both FRS 102 and FRS 105.
5. Completing corporation tax returns.
6. Offering clients advice on improving their business.
7. Working on various advisory and ad hoc client projects.
8. Staff management duties and reviewing work.

This newly created role (January 2025) requires you to be a qualified ACA with at least 3 years PQE, currently working for a UK based practice firm with relevant experience at Manager level. Experience with a wide range of software packages is an advantage, but training will be provided if necessary.

The firm offers hybrid working – 4 days in the office and 1 day from home, plus flexible start/finish times. The atmosphere is casual, relaxed, and friendly.
