Station Systems Technician Early & Late Shifts (Level 4) United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working with technical experts committed to impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team maintaining the nation's critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems).

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, 12-hour shifts, alternating between Earlies (6 am-6 pm) and Lates (12 pm-12 am).

Responsibilities:

• Assist qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens.
• Attend planned, remedial, or corrective maintenance tasks.
• Maintain SISS assets and report station communication faults.
• Use field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data.
• Coordinate with the Telent Service Centre for task updates and completion.

Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multi-tasking and learning, with experience or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures.

Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background.
• Familiarity with O365 and IT awareness.
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Willingness to work 4 on 4 off, 12-hour shifts, alternating Earlies and Lates.
