Job Description:

Station Systems Technician Early & Late Shifts (Level 4) - United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working alongside technical experts. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex, critical work to support the nation's infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating between Earlies (6am-6pm) and Lates (12pm-12am).

Responsibilities:
  • Assist qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens.
  • Attend planned, remedial, or corrective maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain SISS assets and report station communication faults.
  • Use field IT equipment for maintenance data.
  • Liaise with Telent Service Centre for task updates and completions.
Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multitasking and learning. Experience in a similar role or knowledge of Network Rail health & safety procedures is advantageous.

Key Requirements:
  • CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background.
  • Good understanding of O365 and IT awareness.
  • Problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Availability to work 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating Earlies and Lates.
