WM Trains Limited in Nuneaton is seeking a Station Assistant to deliver excellent customer service, assist passengers, and help keep the station clean, safe and presentable. You will support the safe dispatch of trains and act as the face of WM Trains for travellers.
The role requires flexible weekend work, good IT, maths and English, and the ability to stay calm under pressure; age 18+ and safety-critical responsibilities apply.

The Station Assistant provides comprehensive customer service and care at Nuneaton station to maximise revenue income and to help maintain a clean, safe and presentable environment . You will be responsible for the safe dispatch of trains from the platform, be the face of WM Trains in helping with customer travel queries and ensure the station is clean, tidy and safe.
If successful you may be invited to complete a short video interview. As this role is safety critical, you will then be invited to complete online psychometric testing. Please note the anticipated start date will be early November 2026.
To ensure continuity and an effective delivery of service, successful candidates will be required to commit to a minimum 14-month period in role after achieving competence. This also includes existing colleagues who move by internal promotions and transfers. This time allows our future colleagues to support personal career development by allowing time to build strong knowledge and expertise.
