Job summary

HVAC Recruitment Limited is seeking a Static Maintenance Engineer for a Greenford distribution centre. This hands-on FM role covers planned and reactive maintenance across a busy site, with day shifts and an on-call rota. Prior building services experience is valued, with focus on delivering reliable systems and safe operations.

The role is based on a 6am-2:30pm or 9:30am-6pm shift pattern, offering a permanent position and the opportunity to work within a high-volume distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities maintenance and building services.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across the site.
• Maintain general building services including plumbing, fire alarms, emergency lighting and sprinkler systems.
• Carry out first-line checks and resets on loading bay doors.
• Attend breakdowns, diagnose faults and keep equipment running safely.
• Experience with fan coil units, VRVs and split systems would be beneficial but isn’t essential.
• Participate in a 1-in-5 on-call rota.
