Job summary

SER Limited is seeking an experienced Static Building Services Engineer for a permanent, full‑time role on a large static site in the Cambridgeshire CB21 area. You will maintain electrical and mechanical plant within a small team.

The right candidate will have a strong building services maintenance background, with hands‑on work on fan coil units, AHUs and plant rooms, and be based within a commutable distance to Fulbourn.

Qualifications

• Strong background in commercial building services maintenance.
• Experience with electrical and mechanical plant.
• Experience maintaining fan coil units, AHU and plant rooms.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical and mechanical plant on a large static site.
• Work as part of a three-engineer team covering all areas of site maintenance.
• Contribute to day-to-day preventative maintenance and fault finding on site.

Position: Static Building Services Engineer

Location: CB21 area of Cambridgeshire

Salary: From £43,000 to £45,000 subject to experience level

Duration: Permanent

We are looking for an experienced Building Services Engineer for a full time, permanent position on a large static site in Cambridgeshire.

This engineer will be working in a team of three skilled engineers covering all areas of this large static site

The site is occupied by multiple businesses mainly in an office capacity.

The right person for this position will already have a strong building services maintenance background. They need to have experience dealing with electrical and mechanical plant as well as putting their hand to other general maintenance.

We do need this engineer to have a lot of experience dealing with fan coil, ahu and plant room maintenance.

Requirements

• Strong working background in commercial building services maintenance
• Based in a commutable location to the Fulbourn area of Cambridgeshire
• Holding a minimum of a level 2 electrical or mechanical qualification
• Good team player
• Experienced in working on electrical and mechanical plant
• Willing to cover a small amount of out of hours if asked
