Job summary

EG Group is seeking a Store Manager to lead a Starbucks store and drive performance through exceptional customer service and operational excellence. You will manage daily activities, coach your team, and ensure the store meets high standards of quality and presentation.

You will guide inventory, scheduling, and budget considerations while fostering a positive, inclusive work environment and delivering memorable customer moments. This role requires energy, ownership, and a passion for growth.

• Previous management experience within a retail, hospitality, or customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead your store to success by ensuring exceptional operational standards and delivering consistent excellence in customer service, food safety, hygiene, and Starbucks branding.
• Drive store performance through inventory management, stock control, merchandising, and regular reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve performance by reducing waste, managing labour, reviewing processes, and implementing action plans.
• Take ownership of commercial performance through cash management, budget planning, and expenditure control.
• Build and develop a high-performing team by coaching, mentoring, and creating a positive, inclusive environment.
• Recruit, develop, and inspire talent by attracting great people, planning rotas, and motivating the team.
• Create a culture of recognition and accountability aligned with company policies.

A Typical Day as a Store Manager:

• Lead your store to success by ensuring exceptional operational standards and delivering consistent excellence across customer service, food safety, hygiene, and Starbucks brand expectations.
• Drive store performance through effective inventory management, stock control, merchandising, and regular reporting to keep the store running efficiently and delivering strong results.
• Identify opportunities to improve performance by reducing waste, managing labour effectively, reviewing processes, and implementing action plans that support business goals.
• Take ownership of commercial performance through responsible cash management, budget planning, expenditure control, and making informed decisions that support store growth.
• Build and develop a high-performing team by coaching, mentoring, and creating a positive and inclusive environment where colleagues feel supported to grow and succeed.
• Recruit, develop, and inspire talent by attracting great people, planning rotas effectively, and motivating the team to deliver exceptional service and maximise opportunities.
• Create a culture of recognition and accountability by celebrating success, supporting colleague wellbeing, and managing people matters fairly and consistently in line with company policies.
