Job summary

Samworth Brothers is seeking a Standard Hygiene Operative at our Worksop/Manton Wood site to help keep our food production areas clean, safe, and ready for use.

You will work as part of a team to clean equipment and production lines, follow hygiene schedules, and use cleaning chemicals safely, supporting the production team and upholding food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to follow instructions and safe working procedures.
• Good literacy skills.
• Comfortable use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Understanding of food safety, hygiene and health and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Clean work areas, production lines to the required standard.
• Follow cleaning schedules and complete hygiene tasks on time.
• Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly.
• Follow safety, hygiene, and health and safety procedures at all times.
• Dispose of waste safely and keep work areas clean and organised.
• Report any damaged equipment or hygiene concerns to your Team Leader.
• Work closely with production teams to keep the site clean and ready for use.
