Job summary

Ofwat is seeking a Stakeholder Engagement and Events Associate on a fixed-term contract. The role is based in London (E14 4HD) or Birmingham (B5 4UA) with hybrid working arrangements.

You will support external engagement, communications and events with diverse stakeholders, ensuring systems, inboxes and databases are well managed and events run smoothly. This is a fixed-term role until December 2027, offering opportunities to develop in the role with senior support and stretch responsibilities

Qualifications

• Excellent organisational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail.
• Experience providing coordination or administrative support within a communications, stakeholder engagement or events context.
• Strong written communication skills with experience drafting clear materials for diverse audiences.
• Experience supporting planning or delivery of events or engagements with liaising with speakers and attendees.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of stakeholder engagement and communications plans across projects.
• Coordinate systems and processes for stakeholder engagement, including inboxes, databases and trackers.
• Manage speaker requests process and support the proactive programme of speaking engagements.
• Assist in the preparation and delivery of engagements and events, including travel when required.
• Provide stakeholder monitoring and insight sharing to support policy development and communications strategies.
• Produce high-quality written communications for external and internal audiences.
• Collaborate with the wider Communications and Engagement team on additional projects.
