Qualifications

• Proven TIG welding experience, preferably with stainless steel.
• Read and work from engineering drawings.
• Good measuring and marking-out skills.
• Produce neat, accurate welds.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good understanding of workshop health and safety.
• Able to meet deadlines while maintaining quality.

Responsibilities

• TIG welding stainless steel to a high standard.
• Fabricating and assembling stainless-steel components and structures.
• Working from engineering drawings and job specifications.
• Measuring, marking out, cutting and preparing materials.
• Producing clean, accurate and consistent welds.
• Inspecting finished work to ensure quality standards.
• Using workshop tools and fabrication equipment safely and correctly.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Working as part of a team to meet production requirements and deadlines.
• Taking responsibility for the quality of your own work.
