Job summary

Burnhouse Engineering & Fabrication Ltd in Beith, North Ayrshire, seeks an experienced stainless steel TIG Pipe Welder for an indoor workshop role on a 3‑month temporary contract. You must be able to pass a coded welder test to BS EN ISO 9606-1 and demonstrate excellent workmanship.

Responsibilities include TIG welding 304L/316L pipework, reading fabrication drawings and isometrics, preparing, fitting and tacking pipework, and delivering clean welds.

Qualifications

• Proven experience TIG welding stainless steel pipework.
• Ability to pass coded welder test BS EN ISO 9606-1.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• TIG welding stainless steel pipework – 304L/316L.
• Reading fabrication drawings and isometrics.
• Preparing, fitting and tacking pipework.
• Producing clean welds to specification.
