Job summary

Alternative Heat Ltd seeks a stainless steel pipe fabricator and welder to join our growing fabrication team at head office. You will fabricate, surface finish and assemble modular offsite pipe systems, using MIG and TIG welding on carbon/ stainless steel.

A positive, meticulous approach with willingness to learn and develop other techniques is valued. Experience with reading shop drawings and delivering right-first-time workmanship is preferred; training is available for additional materials

Qualifications

• Skilled fabricators who can turn shop drawings into precise pipe assemblies.
• Experience with carbon steel and/or stainless steel pipe is preferred; training available for other materials.

Responsibilities

• Turn shop drawings into precise, high-quality pipe assemblies.
• Fabricate carbon steel and stainless steel pipe using MIG/TIG welding.
• Read and interpret drawings to ensure exact specifications and right-first-time workmanship.
• Contribute to continual improvement and fast-moving production environments.
• Collaborate with the fabrication team to deliver bespoke pipe systems.
