Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL in Heanor is seeking a TIG Welder / Fabricator to join our permanent team. The role focuses on stainless-steel welding, process pipework and general fabrication, with a 40-hour week and ASAP start.

You will weld stainless steel to high standards, fabricate pipework, and work from drawings while maintaining quality and safety. Successful applicants may be tested on-site.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in stainless-steel TIG welding is essential.
• Experience with process pipework and fabrication is required.
• Ability to produce clean, consistent welds to a high standard.
• Confident working from engineering drawings.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a safety-conscious approach.

Responsibilities

• Carry out high-quality TIG welding on stainless steel.
• Fabricate and assemble process pipework.
• Complete cutting, grinding, preparation and general fabrication duties.
• Work accurately from engineering drawings and job instructions.
• Ensure all work meets the required quality and safety standards.
• Inspect completed welds and correct any defects where necessary.
