The Role

Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated software developer to lead a new Research and Development branch of our Streamline developer tools team.

This role involves creating innovative tools and features to empower our customers both in the short term and integrate into the Streamline tool long term. The candidate should be adaptable to industry changes and work collaboratively to develop features for performance analysis tools for Arm CPUs and Mali GPUs.

About the group Strategy & Ecosystems

STE aims to help customers develop creative and energy-efficient Arm-Powered products using powerful, user-friendly development tools. Our mission is to enhance system performance, productivity, and reduce time to market across Arm's product range, impacting products like cars, drones, mobile games, and machine learning applications.

Responsibilities:

• Leading the R&D team across multiple projects and tools.
• Collaborating with internal and external customers and the core Streamline team.
• Developing and testing code in various languages.
• Working within an Agile environment and promoting continuous improvement throughout the development lifecycle.

Required Skills and Experience :

• Proficiency in Java or C++.
• Experience working closely with customers.
• Leadership experience in software projects or teams.
• A degree in engineering, science, mathematics, or equivalent experience.

“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :

• People management experience.
• Experience in software optimization and profiling, especially system software.
• Knowledge of scripting languages like Python and Linux command line usage.
• Familiarity with Linux/POSIX development or low-level Linux/Android systems programming.
