Overview

The PepsiCo Food North America R&D Brand Stewardship Associate Engineer will lead Brand Stewardship packaging R&D for the Canadian Business, supporting ongoing FLC brand stewardship packaging agenda on key brands/portfolios, including: Miss Vickie’s, Cheetos, Lay’s, Ruffles, Multicultural, Natural Snacks like Bare, Popcorners, Simply, Stacy’s, as well as Smartfood popcorn, Rold Gold, Oven Baked, Doritos, Sunchips and Value brands: Cracker Jacks, Hickory Sticks, Munchies, Dollarama, Food Service, Havoc.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure product design integrity while making big changes to big brands.
  • Expand experience on multiple brands and processes.
  • Provide updates to key R&D and cross-functional executive leadership team members.
  • Develop understanding of how to incorporate business needs into technical decisions.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Operations, Purchasing and Finance to create new business opportunities.
  • Develop packaging solutions for established projects to help grow the business.
  • Maintain open communication and build strong relationships with internal & external teams.
  • Demonstrate an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, consumer driven environment.
Qualifications
  • BS in Engineering.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills.
  • Solid communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated capability to effectively manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and manage changing priorities.
  • Analytical and Innovative thinking
  • Experience in cross-functional projects/teams.
  • Willingness/ability to travel.
  • Experience in experimental design and analysis
