Mozilla is seeking an experienced software engineer to work on Firefox engineering tools and systems. This role spans internal engineering systems, developer tooling, workflow automation, and production deployments.

You will join Cloud Engineering to provide shared platforms while enabling teams to operate their applications effectively. You will design and deploy software across multiple domains, help establish standards, and build tooling to simplify operations.

Competenze

• Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript or TypeScript with experience deploying production systems.
• Experience building and operating production systems in cloud environments using infrastructure as code (Terraform).
• Experience in CI/CD, containers/orchestration, networking, databases, observability or developer tooling.
• Ability to use data, telemetry and metrics to investigate problems and guide decisions.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and their capabilities and limits.

Mansioni

• Design, build, deploy, and operate software and systems for Firefox engineering.
• Contribute to developer tooling, CI/CD, workflow automation, and AI-assisted development tools.
• Own complex technical problems end-to-end across software, cloud, and operational layers; improve reliability and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with Firefox engineering, Cloud Engineering, IT and other teams across boundaries.
• Use telemetry and data analysis to guide engineering decisions and improvements.
• Contribute to architecture and technical strategy across teams.
