Job summary

Shearwater GeoServices in Gatwick is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead development of the Reveal software platform. You will work across development, research and infrastructure, providing technical leadership and guiding engineers through the full software lifecycle.

You will apply expert C++ skills in high-performance computing environments, improve architecture, performance and reliability, and collaborate with HPC/IT teams to meet user needs.

Qualifications

• Expert-level C++ experience with memory management, concurrency and performance optimization.
• Strong HPC/parallel computing background (MPI, OpenMP, CUDA, clustering).
• Ability to provide architectural guidance and communicate with stakeholders.
• Proactive, independent work with ownership.
• Excellent cross-team communication.
