We’re looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our team, based in Gatwick.
Working across development, research and infrastructure teams, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving our Reveal software platform, while providing technical leadership and guidance to engineers across the team. From day-to-day development through to architectural decisions and stakeholder engagement, you’ll be involved across the full software lifecycle.
Our software operates in high-performance computing environments, supporting complex geophysical workflows and large-scale data processing.
You will bring strong experience in C++ development, contributing high-quality code while supporting improvements to architecture, performance and reliability. You’ll be comfortable working with parallel computing frameworks and HPC environments, and able to contribute to areas such as build systems, debugging and release processes.
A key part of the role will also involve collaborating with HPC/IT teams, developers and researchers, ensuring the software meets both technical and user needs, while continuously improving development processes and quality standards.
