Job summary

Lovable is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to define the technical direction for Lovable Enterprise. You will own platform architecture across cloud providers, build secure sandboxing and runtime environments, and set the engineering bar for networking, encryption, and identity.

You'll mentor engineers, shape enterprise deployments, and partner with customers and cloud providers to solve complex infrastructure challenges at scale in London and beyond.

Qualifications

• Experience architecting platform or infrastructure systems that have scaled in production.
• Experience building enterprise products and working with enterprise customers.
• Deep expertise across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience designing distributed systems used across multiple teams.
• Strong programming skills in Go, Rust, Java, C++, or similar.
• Experience building secure, reliable systems operating under demanding production workloads.
• Experience operating at Staff, Principal, founding engineer, or CTO-level scope.
• A product mindset—you care about the people using the systems you build, not just the systems themselves.
• We're less interested in traditional DevOps backgrounds and more interested in engineers who enjoy building software that powers infrastructure.
