About the Company: Alces Flight develops innovative software for AI & HPC systems across the UK. They advocate open-source software and serve clients in academia, banking, manufacturing, and Formula One. The company is expanding into Europe and the US and seeks a motivated engineer to help develop a new SaaS/IaaS platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with directors and system architects to develop core products
• Design, research, and implement new software solutions
• Develop and integrate existing platforms
• Own the full lifecycle of projects from conception to deployment
• Work with large-scale AI systems, supercomputers, and cloud technologies
• Utilize multiple technologies, primarily Ruby on Rails

Ideal Candidate:

• Passionate about software development, open-source, and Linux environments
• Proficient in multiple programming languages and scripting (Bash, Ruby, Python)
