Job summary

Pfizer Inc. is seeking a Staff Platform Engineer to shape our AI & Agentic AI Platform hosting environments. Reporting to the Principal Platform Engineer, you will deliver scalable, compliant infrastructure across multiple clouds, enabling AI-driven workflows.

You will build reusable patterns, automate deployments, and drive GPU enablement and GitOps practices while maintaining reliability and cost efficiency in regulated environments.

Qualifications

Experience in platform engineering, DevOps, and cloud-native infrastructure.
Deep knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
Proven multi-cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP) and GitOps workflows.

Responsibilities

Craft reusable modules and templates for environment provisioning in AWS and Azure.
Operate CI/CD pipelines with auditable delivery.
Automate onboarding and environment setup for application teams.
Deliver runbooks, incident response guides, and self-healing automation.
Contribute to platform architecture for shared hosting and delivery pipelines across multiple clouds.
Design and implement multi-cloud infrastructure patterns using IaC and GitOps.
Drive Kubernetes orchestration, autoscaling, and workload isolation for services.
Refine standards for observability, security, and compliance in regulated environments.
