Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is inviting applications for a Band 5 staff nurse with a neonatal interest to join the neonatal team at the Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU).
The post holder will provide holistic care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, with opportunities for training, growth and development in a supportive environment. This role suits nurses who are confident in their practice and keen to develop skills in neonatal care.
A fantastic opportunity for a Band 5 staff nurse with neonatal interest to join the neonatal team at Bassetlaw. We are looking for an individual who can bring existing nursing knowledge and skills to the team while continuing to develop their neonatal skills and knowledge.
The post holder will provide the highest standard of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of individualised holistic care in conjunction with the multi-disciplinary team within the neonatal unit. There is opportunity for training, growth and development within a supportive team on the Special Care Baby Unit. This role is ideally suited to nurses who are confident in their nursing practice, demonstrate sound clinical judgement, and are keen to further develop their skills within a specialist area.
Caring for infants requiring admission to the Special Care Baby Unit.
Undertaking training packages to improve knowledge and clinical skills.
Providing and supporting family integrated care on the Special Care Baby Unit.
Working alongside the multi disciplinary team to provide excellent evidence based care.
