We'd like you to join us as a Staff Nurse at our Frenchay Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre in Bristol.

At Frenchay Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre, we work to enable patients to achieve clearly defined and agreed goals. We treat individuals from the age of 16 with an acquired or traumatic brain injury. We’re committed to ensuring our residents feel safe, happy, and empowered.

What you'll be working:

We're flexible, so you'll work a total of 37.5 hours per week, on a rota basis.

What you'll be doing:

• Be an active participant in the multidisciplinary team, formulating care plans and utilising appropriate assessments.
• Assess and manage risks identified through assessment of patients/residents, in conjunction with other health professionals.
• Regularly review risk factors and modify care plans as appropriate, working with other health professionals.
• Act as the primary nurse for inpatient stay where applicable.
• Ensure clinical practice is evidence-based and aligns with NICE, NMC guidelines, and organisational policies.
• Undertake clinical supervision to develop competence and practice.
• Mentor/support students, support workers, or healthcare assistants as appropriate.
• Supervise junior staff in carrying out care plans.
• Liaise effectively with all involved in the care process, including carers and relatives, to provide a seamless service.
• Maintain and update relevant knowledge and skills; keep a professional portfolio and participate in training to enhance care quality.
• Comply with health and safety policies to contribute to safe working practices.
• Protect vulnerable adults/children and act as a Patient Advocate.

What you'll have:

• A current NMC registration (RN, RMN, RNLD).
