Staff Nurse – Pre-Assessment

Nuffield Health Cambridge Hospital | Pre-Assessment | Permanent | Part time

Up to £34,250 per annum (pro rata), depending on experience

15 hours per week

As a Staff Nurse in Pre-Assessment at our Cambridge Hospital, you’ll be attentive, focused, detail-oriented, and empathetic. You’re registered with the appropriate governing body, such as the NMC, and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration. With post-registration experience, you’re a team player with a passion for exceptional patient care.

As a Pre-Assessment Staff Nurse, you will:

• Be part of a close-knit team delivering matron-led care in a consultant-led service.
• Work with leading professionals to make accurate assessments for patients prior to their surgery, as the first point of contact.
• Demonstrate a broad knowledge base and assessment skills to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Fully understand and support the needs of each patient and their family.
• Offer comfort and reassurance, providing the highest standards of care.
• Build your experience across new practices, equipment, and facilities.
• Collaborate with practitioners in other areas to ensure continuity in patient care.

Facilities include 3 digital theatres, 32 beds, a Surgical Day Case theatre/endoscopy suite, Surgical Day PODs, private consultation rooms, close monitoring units, a Chemotherapy suite, on-site pharmacy, diagnostic scanning unit, and a Pathology laboratory.
