Job summary

Nuffield Health Bristol Hospital is seeking a Bank Staff Nurse for Pre-Assessment. You will join a close-knit team delivering matron-led care and act as the first point of contact to assess patients before surgery, ensuring accurate assessments and compassionate support.

You'll work in a consultant-led service, collaborating with various practitioners to uphold the highest standards of patient care and continuity across departments.

Qualifications

• Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and eligible to work as a Staff Nurse.
• Experience in pre-assessment or perioperative care is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a close-knit team delivering matron-led care in a consultant-led service.
• Serve as the first point of contact to assess patients prior to surgery and ensure comfort and reassurance.
• Support patients and families, maintain high standards of care, and collaborate with practitioners across departments.
