Job summary

Wythenshawe Hospital Emergency Department is seeking an enthusiastic Registered and experienced Paediatric Nurse to join our paediatric nursing team to work in a brand new state of the art, modern building.

You will be well supported with career progression and learning opportunities in both adult and paediatric emergency medicine.

You will be part of a dynamic and friendly team who together strive to achieve the best patient outcomes and deliver the highest standard of care to all of our patients.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will assess, plan, evaluate and deliver all relevant aspects of patient care in a caring,compassionate and sensitive manner. Work closely with the multi-disciplinary team and contribute tothe clinical governance process. Act as a mentor/preceptor to junior staff, with specific responsibility forpre-registration students.

The post holder will take delegated responsibility for the management of the clinical team and themaintenance of high standards of quality patient care on a shift basis.
