Job summary

Nuffield Health Bristol Hospital is seeking an Outpatients Staff Nurse to join our ad-hoc bank team. You will work within Outpatients to manage varied caseloads, deliver high-quality patient care and participate in clinics and procedures.

We value registered nurses with post-registration experience who are empathetic, detail-oriented and team players. Weekend shifts included, with competitive hourly pay and excellent support from a leading healthcare charity.

Qualifications

• Registered with the appropriate governing body (NMC).
• Post-registration experience in nursing, with a focus on patient care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent patient care in Outpatients.
• Manage a varied and busy caseload in Outpatients services.
• Assist with procedures, manage clinics and apply clinical skills.
• Meet the needs of patients and their families, offering reassurance.
• Collaborate with practitioners to ensure continuity of patient care.
• Provide time to care and build patient rapport.

As a Staff Nurse in our hospital, you’ll be alert, focused, detail-oriented and empathetic.You’re registered with the appropriate governing body, and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC. With post-registration experience, you’re a team player with a passion for exceptional patient care.

As an Outpatients Staff Nurse, you will:

• Show your passion for delivering excellent patient care
• Working in a busy and fast environment you will manage a varied and interesting caseload in Outpatients services
• Take part in a wide range of procedures, manage clinics and apply your extensive clinical skills to aid recovery
• Instinctively meet the needs of patients and their families, offering comfort and reassurance
• Work with practitioners in other areas to ensure continuity in patient care
• Enjoy more time to care and get to know your patients
