As the Anaesthetic Practitioner at GOSH, you will have the privilege of caring for these children during their time in Theatres. You will be working in a team of over 50 Anaesthetic Practitioners and an additional 220 multi-disciplinary staff across Theatres and the Directorate.
No Paediatric experience? No problem! We offer a very comprehensive and informative Induction Programme and we house the most dedicated team of Practice Educators in each clinical environment within the hospital. There are multiple opportunities to build on teaching and leadership and support is provided when applying for jobs within the Trust.
The rest of our magic happens in one of our 19 Theatres, with specialities including General, ENT, Orthopaedics, Spines, Plastics, Neurology, Craniofacial, Ophthalmology, Renal, Urology, Dental and Cardiology. We also extend our skilled services to Interventional Radiology, MRI, CT, Nuclear Medicine, Gastroenterology and Haematology/Oncology as well as Gamma Knife surgery, which takes place at our neighbour hospital - The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery.

The recruitment process for all admin and clerical roles at Bands 2-4 will be a two stage recruitment process whereby shortlisted candidates will undertake an online literacy, numeracy, ICT and typing test. Only those candidates who pass the competency test will proceed to a formal interview.
