Job summary

A regional healthcare provider in Tees Valley is seeking a Staff Nurse to join their Neonatal Unit team at James Cook University hospital. This role requires a Registered Nurse with current NMC registration and experience in a clinical environment. You will be responsible for assessing and implementing clinical care and aiding in the management of the nursing work in the NICU. The position offers a salary range of £31,049 to £37,796 per annum (pro rata) and includes leadership training opportunities. This is a fulltime on-site position.

This is an opportunity to join our Neonatal Unit team at James Cook University hospital. We are a regional Neonatal Intensive Care Unit with 35 Cots, consisting of 15 ITU/HDU cots and 20 special care cots.

Main duties of the job

To be an active member of the multidisciplinary team by using professional judgement and assuming responsibility and accountability for assessing, implementing and evaluating clinical care for patients to meet their needs in a safe caring environment that promotes dignity, privacy and respect.

The post holder will be expected to develop knowledge and skills within the speciality of neonatology and will assist in the management and organization of nursing work in the NICU within the NMC Code of Professional Conduct.
