Shift times: Monday Sunday (flexibility to work long days, Nights & weekends)

We are looking for a Staff Nurse to join our Acute Medical Team at the Princess Grace Hospital, currently rated Good by the CQC.

Main duties of the job

Our Acute Medicine pathway provides a 24/7 service, providing care in our Acute Admission Unit, Acute Care Unit, or via our Urgent Care Centre, ensuring patients receive the best possible treatment - whenever they need it.

This position is based in our 19 bedded ward caring for acute medical patients with a posture of breast surgery patients and daycase procedures ie. Iron infusions, interventional Radiology procedures (biopsies etc).

As an Acute Medical Nurse, you will be part of a team delivering high quality care to our acutely unwell patients, with a range of complex care needs. You will have the opportunity to work with our dedicated team of medical consultants from a wide range of medical specialties.

Day-to-day, you will use your knowledge and expertise to manage acutely unwell patients and work with our multi-disciplinary team to support our 1-hour pathway for patient assessment and deliver high-quality care to our general medical and surgical patients requiring medical input or optimisation.
