Job summary

The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust in Liverpool is seeking an experienced Registered General Nurse to join its neurology and neurosurgery teams. You will work across Fazakerley site, delivering patient-focused care and supporting families as part of a multidisciplinary team.

You will have ward-based experience, post-registration in neuroscience is desirable, and you will contribute to high-quality clinical outcomes.

Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse with UK registration.
• Experience in ward areas and post-registration in Neuro.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and MDT.

Responsibilities

• Registered General Nurse
• Range of experience in ward areas
• Post reg. study in Neuro specific area

Knowledge and Experience

• Understanding of quality and changing practice in a clinical setting

• Ability to communicate effectively in a variety of settings with patients / families/MDT team and with people of varying levels of understanding.
• Able to deal with questions and able to present factual information
