Job summary

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Band 5 Registered Nurse to join Gloucester Ward at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust. Gloucester Ward is an 18-bedded general acute respiratory and medicine ward, dedicated to providing the best possible care to patients.

You will provide high-quality, evidence-based care to patients, have excellent communication skills, and contribute to the professional development of colleagues through mentoring, shadowing and skills training.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with current NMC registration (Band 5) and eligible to work in the UK.
• Experience in acute respiratory and medical ward settings is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to patients with respiratory and medical needs, including assessment, planning and delivery of treatments.
• Administer medications, monitor progress and respond to changes in condition.
• Support patients and families, work with the multi-disciplinary team, and contribute to quality improvement and mentoring of junior staff.
