An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and compassionate Band 5 Staff Nurse to join Ward B5 our Acute Frailty Unit at St Helier Hospital. We welcome applications from newly qualified nurses as well as nurses looking to develop their career in caring for older people and those living with frailty.

Ward B5 is a dynamic and supportive environment dedicated to delivering high-quality, person-centred care to elderly and frail patients with complex health needs. As a Band 5 Staff Nurse, you will work closely with an experienced multidisciplinary team, gaining valuable skills and experience in acute frailty, geriatric medicine, and comprehensive patient assessment.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to build your clinical confidence, develop your nursing practice, and participate in a structured preceptorship programme designed to support newly qualified nurses during the transition from student to registered practitioner. You will be encouraged to take ownership of your professional development while receiving guidance from experienced nurses and senior colleagues.
