Job summary

Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust is seeking two registered nurses to join Ward 3 Goole, delivering direct patient care across the unit and supporting discharge planning. The role offers part-time and full-time flexible patterns in a smaller community hospital with good parking and accessible transport links to York, Doncaster, Leeds, Hull and Scunthorpe.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in the NHS and acute care settings.
• Registered nurse with a degree or diploma in nursing.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development.
• Ability to work well in a team and adapt to flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care, including planning, assessment and delivery.
• Supervision of junior staff.
• Supervision and assessment of student nurses.
• Medication management and safety.
• Support patient rehabilitation with MDT colleagues.
• Care of relatives and families.
• Shift management and leadership in absence of seniors.
• Ensure environment and stock control.
